Seva Ratna Award

The centenarian Trust of Kaanji Kamakoti Peetam has conferred SEVA RATNA AWARD for the year 1999 for getting Sahitya Akademi Award for translating the Malayalam novel into Tamil and for getting twice the Government of India Prize for translating Telugu short-stories and Telugu poems.

A book in Chemistry authored by Ilambharathi published through the Government of Tamilnadu has been prescribed as text-books for B.Sc (Chemistry) students.
